How to Find Us

Engawala is located 20 km north of the Plenty Highway. The highway is currently sealed between the Stuart Highway and both Engawala turn-offs, and will soon be fully sealed between Boulia and the Stuart Highway as part of theOutback Way development.

Once renovations are complete, the Art Centre will be at 24 Webb Street, opposite the community store and fuel outlet as you enter town.

Services at Engawala

Engawala (population ≈150) is a friendly stop between the Queensland border and Alice Springs. Services include:

• Supermarket & community post office
• Fuel outlet
• Telstra mobile-phone booster dish

A large parking area is available next to the store, opposite the Art Centre.
